Deposit and refund policy
The deposit exists to reserve equipment and hold a price while permitting runs. It is not a commitment device and it is not a way to trap you. Here is exactly how it works.
What the deposit does
- Reserves a specific unit out of available inventory in your name.
- Locks the published equipment price for 90 days, protecting you from a manufacturer price change during permitting.
- Schedules your site survey within five business days.
- Applies 100% to your final invoice. It is not a fee and it is not consumed by anything.
Refunds
The deposit is refundable in full, at any time, up until installation work begins. There are no conditions, no restocking charge and no requirement to explain yourself.
If the site survey reveals work you do not want to pay for, you get a full refund. If you decide against the project for no reason at all, you get a full refund. If we cannot source your unit in a reasonable window, we refund it without being asked.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Card processors typically post the credit within 5 to 10 business days, which is their timeline rather than ours.
After installation begins
Once installation work has started, the deposit has been applied to your invoice and the project is governed by your signed installation agreement rather than by this policy. That agreement sets out change orders, scheduling and warranty.
What the deposit is not
It is not required in order to get a quote. Surveys and written installation quotes are free and carry no obligation. If someone tells you a deposit is needed before you can see a price, that is not us.

Do I need a deposit to get a quote?
No. Site surveys and written installation quotes are free with no obligation and no payment of any kind. The deposit only matters if you want to reserve a specific unit and lock the equipment price.
What if the survey turns up expensive surprises?
You get your deposit back in full. That is precisely the scenario the refund terms exist for. We would rather refund a deposit than install a system somebody feels cornered into.
Does the 90-day price lock cover installation too?
The lock covers the equipment price. Your installation price is fixed in writing when we issue the quote after the survey, and it is honoured on its own terms.
