Cummins C12D6RE
12kW towable diesel · Tier 4 Final
For rental fleets and commercial buyers
5 towable diesel generators from 12kW to 200kW, from $21,992.00. Each is a complete power plant on its own DOT trailer: engine, alternator, controls, fuel and distribution panel in a lockable, sound-attenuated enclosure. These are Cummins rental packages, sold to rental companies adding fleet units and to businesses buying power for a specific commercial job: construction, events, disaster response, or a facility whose service is down or being replaced.

Runtime is Cummins' figure at 75% of prime load on the onboard tank. Prices are for the equipment; freight is quoted per shipment.
Tax-exempt purchases require a valid Texas resale or exemption certificate. Without one on file, sales tax is charged at checkout. Online checkout cannot accept a certificate, so to buy tax-exempt, or to order several units, call (214) 957-4307 and provide the certificate before you order.
The larger units are built to the voltage you select, from 120/240 V single phase to 277/480 V three phase, and Cummins configures them before they ship. Match the selection to what you will power. If you are not certain, ask your electrician or call us first.
A full tank adds hundreds of pounds, and on the 150kW and 200kW units the trailer weighs about five tons fueled. Rate your truck and hitch against the weight with fuel. On the 70kW through 200kW trailers you choose electric or hydraulic brakes and a ball or pintle hitch when you order.
The 70kW through 200kW sets meet Tier 4 Final without a diesel particulate filter, so there is no DPF to regenerate, but they do use diesel exhaust fluid. Keep DEF on hand alongside the fuel.
A trailer generator connects to a building through a transfer switch or a generator docking station, never by back-feeding a panel. That installation is a separate job. In Dallas-Fort Worth we quote it after a free site survey.
