Cummins C70D2RE
70kW towable diesel · Tier 4 Final
Rental fleet & commercial · DOT trailer
12kW standby, 10.8kW prime. Rental fleets and contractors: job-site offices, tool power, light towers and small temporary services.
The C12D6RE arrives as a complete, self-contained power plant: engine, alternator, controls, fuel and distribution panel in a sound-attenuated, lockable enclosure on its own trailer. Park it, connect the load and start it. There is no pad to pour and no gas line to run.
It runs a Kubota D1503-M, 1.5 L in-line 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled certified to EPA Tier 4 Final. The onboard 26 gallon tank gives about 29.5 hours at 75% of prime load.

A separate service
A trailer generator feeds a building through a transfer switch or a generator docking station, installed by a licensed electrician. That is not part of the equipment sale. In Dallas-Fort Worth we quote it in writing after a free site survey.

Built as a rental package
The C12D6RE is $21,992.00 for the equipment, the same at every voltage it is offered in. Freight is not charged at checkout: it is quoted per shipment, and we confirm it with you by phone before anything is booked. Sales tax is calculated at checkout from the delivery address. No installation is included or required to run it as a stand-alone generator.
Yes. This is a Cummins rental package, built for fleet use: a lockable enclosure, onboard fluid containment and controls designed for rental operators. Rental companies and commercial buyers can order online or by phone. Tax-exempt purchases require a valid Texas resale or exemption certificate. Without one on file, sales tax is charged at checkout. To buy tax-exempt, provide your certificate before ordering by calling (214) 957-4307; online checkout cannot accept a certificate. Orders for several units are also easier to arrange by phone.
The C12D6RE is a 120/240 1Ph unit, which covers standard 120 V and 240 V tools, job-site panels and single-phase loads. It is not offered in a three-phase build.
The onboard tank holds 26 gallons, which Cummins rates at about 29.5 hours at 75% of prime load. At full standby load it burns 1.28 gallons an hour.
It weighs 1,801 lb dry and 2,017 lb with a full tank, about 1 tons, on a single-axle trailer. Check your tow vehicle and hitch against the wet weight, not the dry weight.
Yes, but not by plugging it in. Connecting a generator to a building's wiring needs a properly rated transfer switch or generator docking station installed by a licensed electrician, so the generator cannot back-feed the utility line. That work is not sold with the equipment. In Dallas-Fort Worth we quote it separately after a site survey.
